McDermott, Will & Emery engaged Dragon Rouge to develop a new identity for their discovery division—positioning it as a focused, standalone offering distinct from the parent law firm. As a senior designer, I translated the brand strategy into a cohesive visual identity (excluding the logo) that communicated clarity, rigor, and partnership.
Established a monochrome photography style to underscore clarity, focus, and attention to detail.
Introduced strategic accent colors to humanize the brand and distinguish it within a conservative category—signaling warmth, energy, and forward momentum.
Built out visual guidelines and branded assets to ensure consistency across channels and formats.
The resulting identity elevated the discovery division as a trusted, innovative partner—communicating its unique value while reinforcing the broader firm’s reputation for excellence.
